Father put this condition in front of Smriti Irani
In Nilesh Mishra’s show The Slow Interview, Smriti Irani said, ‘After being selected for Miss India, I needed Rs 1 lakh to participate in the competition. I took money from my father as a loan, but he put a condition with giving the money. The father said that you will have to return the money with interest and if you are not able to return it, then I will get you married with a boy of your choice. I accepted that condition.
Somehow returned 60 thousand rupees to the father
Smriti Irani told that she had to work as a cleaner to return her father’s money. He returned Rs 60,000 to his father from the gifts he received from the beauty pageant, but had to work for the rest of the money. Smriti Irani worked in some advertisements, but she needed an income source for money.
Smriti had to do the work of sweeping
The actress said, ‘When I went to McDonald’s, there were only two slots left. He said that this is a foundation job. When I asked what kind of job it was, he said that he would have to do the work of sweeping, mopping and utensils. I said ok. I got Rs 1500 for this work. Before joining the job, I asked about the promotion process, then the woman who hired said that first work here for a month.

Smriti Irani told that she used to work six days a week and on the day off she used to go for auditions. During the audition, she got her first show because Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. In this way, Smriti Irani made a special place in everyone’s heart by becoming Tulsi in Ekta Kapoor’s show.
